bottles
A downloadable game for Windows
About the game
Bottles is a story about teenagers exploring a reservoir at night. Primarily an atmospheric story-based game, it contains slight horror elements -- nothing too scary though. Takes a few minutes to play.
For the best experience, download Bottles-Refined.zip. This was made in about two days as part of the Game Dev Unlocked - Game Jam #4. I left the original game jam version up for posterity.
Game controls
Only works with a keyboard and mouse.
Move | W,A,S,D or Arrow Keys |
Interact | Left Mouse Button |
Crouch | Control |
About the project
This game was made during the Game Dev Unlocked - Game Jam #4. The theme was Underwater. This was my second time participating in a game jam and I was reminded how little you can do in a short amount of time.
My creative goal was to write an interesting story that is set in a visually striking location. I also wanted going underwater to be part of the gameplay and not just an environmental element. My technical goals were to make a game using URP and an event based architecture in Unity.
If you feel inclined to toss any coins my way, rest assured they'll be used to fund future games.

Appreciated the calmness in this game. The atmosphere was compelling, yet comfy. The setting minimalistic, yet rich. Every step forward, yet going back turned out to be better. Loved it. Well done and kudos to all involved! This was incredibly fun, and it nailed so much. Excellent job and please keep making games!

@ Geoff Alsay,
After playing 'The Interview' I gave it a score and decided to follow, only to find out I already did play all 3 of your games, and they're awesome, as each one stands out on its own merit. Very well done and I sincerely hope you have more in you to entertain us. Hat in hand.
